聖誕的詩歌

我們教會的聖誕讚美禮拜在12/19，當天有太多團體要讚美、獻詩，練習場所又都在同一處，所以詩班又再次練得很充忙。

禮拜中聖歌隊詩班要負責四首詩歌，到前兩天禮拜五之前其實我們才練過一首半，12/17那天的練歌時間也花了大半時間在第三首，以致於最後那一首歌只練到15分鐘。

恐怖的是，還有幾位隊員好幾週都沒來練習，12/19主日早上突然才冒出，讓不少人流了很多冷汗。

結果呢？四首歌都「平安過關」。

是的，靠著主的恩典，我們唱得還不錯…

但也有眼尖的會友反應說，男聲部除了我先生怎麼都沒有人在看指揮？我們心裡知道，是因為曲子還不熟，眼睛離不開歌譜…

啊… 想到那一個聖誕夜，東方博士是經過多少「準備」，拿出最好最寶貴的禮物，花時間千里迢迢才來到新生王面前敬拜，對照於我們自己如此準備不足的奉獻，真的非常慚愧。

是啊，我們有長久的默契，手邊有不少現成的詩歌，反正「新生王」每年都可以朝見，今天拿易開罐調理包打開就可以吃了，而且可以看起來是那麼很美味…

但是，鑑察人心的主啊，祢悅納我們的禮物嗎？

準備雖然不足，但在12/19當天證道前的第一首詩歌 John Rutter 所寫的「聖誕的詩歌」，是我非常非常喜歡的曲子，我還是很想與你分享。

願我們如同回到第一個聖誕夜那般，帶著謙卑敬虔的心，來到那位為了愛而降生的救主跟前，獻上我們最寶貴的心志。
